Become a Resource Center for the Lord

Become a resource center for the Lord

In the times we are living today there are many needs around us in the lives of people everywhere.

As a follower of Christ Jesus taught us to always do good deeds and acts of love and kindness. He says we are to do it with a pure heart of love and humility. Jesus taught that a life of giving and sacrifice as a child of God was to be a normal life, in which He led by example.

He spoke to us, "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.” (Matthew 6:3-4) The word poor means deficient or lacking in something specified. Being poor is not just lacking physical needs, but many are lacking spirituality and are needing to experience the love, forgiveness and acceptance of God. Being born again means you are equipped by God to meet the needs of others! Being spirit led and open to His instructions will guide one into being a life giver like Christ. Being obedient when He speaks to your heart will open the love and hand of God to others.

Don't buy into the lie that you are not able to be a supplier of the Kingdom. Everyone has something to contribute. As your obedient to give, The Father will bring increase to your life. The Word says, “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;” (2 Corinthians 9:10) This works in contributing to the spiritual or natural needs of others.

Jesus taught us that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Become an extravagant giver of love, talents, resources and kind deeds and see what God does in you and through you. He is a multiplier and will use your obedience to release His glory in others difficult situations. Use what you have been given and always look to the needs of those around you. God choose to place you in the place you dwell, to not only take care of your own needs but to draw out of you what others may need.

I dare you to ask the Lord to make you a resource center for Him and watch what He will put in your heart and in your hands to be the answer to someone else’s prayer need. The Lord is always searching for someone He can flow through and you can be that one!
